The product is ranked in "C" inflammability category. During transportation, storage and processing  the relevant anti-burn precautions have to be observed.

Due to its alkaline reaction, it is corrosive to similar extent as cement-dust, so in the course of treatment precautions regarding cement have to be observed.

The remainder of the additive may be placed as building waste after mixing it with cement and water letting it bind.
